June Update: All in Box! Miniatures, Coins, Meeple box

Hello everyone, It is time for the June update:

Manufacturing is going according to plan. Our team will be focusing on translations to German and French, those translations will be submitted in July.

Below is the updated Timeline of The Flood 🌊🌊.

• May - July 23: 🔄 Manufacturing step1
• Aug 23: 🔄 Manufacturing step 2
• Sep 23: Packaging, Port delivery
• Oct 23: Ocean Freight
• Oct-Nov 23: Fulfillment USA, Fulfillment World wide

The All in box is pictured below: The box feels very sturdy,  and the top cover is rigid and we are super happy about it, the inserts fit perfectly in the box as well, see pics below. There will be an unboxing video of the all in box in the next update.

The Mats have arrived, since seeing them there were a few updates, to the textures this will ensure the print is very clear and does not bleed on the white parts of the mats

Tuck box for the meeple pack, this will feature player 1-6 meeples, 6 player trays.

Faith tokens v2, More detail and texture has been added to the metal, these feel heavy we are excited to have all of you see them soon!

Dice

Miniatures. These are the final miniatures intended for sizing and detail, we have not shown these in the last update. They were modified a few weeks back for the molds. Keep in mind the commercial minis will have higher detail due to the molds. There are some new things we implemented to make sure the Beast models have a swappable color ring at the bottom, players will be able to change the color rings on their Beast miniature.

May Update, 2 month Manufacturing delay 🔄, All in box modifications

Hello, It is time for the May update:

On Monday we received an updated timeline from the manufacturer. They needed 180 more days to finish the manufacturing process. We have been communicating multiple times a day with them and this caught us off guard. At that point we emailed the CEO sales/account managers and they were able to kick the process into high gear and shorten the delay to two months.  We apologize for this delay and have done everything we can to communicate with them regularly.

Our focus now is to make sure manufacturing stays on track and fulfillment goes smoothly.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding. I worked around the clock to to deliver the Flood to you as soon as possible and anyone who has worked with me or the team can attest to our work-ethic. Unfortunately this delay is outside of our control.

All in! Box

Due  to the unique All in Box design we decided to do some additional testing. Testing revealed that the box sags if the drawers are not completely closed. To avoid this, the top was slightly modified. The new top features a magnetic, UV varnish lid. An additional art will be placed on inner side of the lid. Below are renders from the manufacturer. The box sample will be shipped soon

Mats

The Mats with updated (lighter color texture) look really good and are waiting to get shipped out with the box. We will post them once we get the package.

Faith tokens 

Faith tokens had a more detailed pass, the current ones that we got didn't have allot of texture due to the metal and tooling, more texture was added, we are excited to show these to you as well once we get them

Investor Rewards:

Two out of five pledge rewards should have been shipped this week. We are excited that those have gone out and look forward to your feedback. Some of you have also asked if the tee shirts in the investor pledge can be purchased separately. They will soon be available for purchase through our redesigned website.

Rulebook Translations:

Translations into French and German are complete and will posted soon.

Hello everyone,  good morning 👋, our prototypes📦 have arrived! Thank you for your patience and for your support🙏!

Box sizes

The Standard box size is 295*295*79mm. The Deluxe has increased to 300*300*105 as mentioned in the previous update. The All in big box has increased as well to 300*300*150mm

Weight 

Weight for the Deluxe is +- 5.1 lbs, For the All in is +-7.2 lbs

These samples were a test of size and color ( keep in mind the actual game will look better then these prototypes )

The inserts for the deluxe and the All in box have been improved. Including a "locking" lid to ensure nothing falls out easily.

February Update: Inserts 🍱

Hello everyone  👋, this is the February update for The Flood 🌊🌊! We postponed this months update as much as possible in hope of being able to announce the pre print prototypes arrival 📦✈️. Unfortunately at the time of this writing they have not arrived yet. They will be in the upcoming March update. We had some files returned in January that we had to redo using another software 🖥. This should not delay fulfillment. The target fulfillment dates are still June 30-July 30.

Some of the backers were curious about the inserts 🍱 and storage within each pledge. Below are the models for our inserts. (Keep in mind the final vacuum formed inserts will have rounded corders due to the manufacture process ).

 The final color of the Deluxe and All in! pledge inserts will be a dark grey #505050 📁

The Deluxe pledge will have a modular insert on the bottom with each player having their own game minis / meeples in a dedicated tray.

The Big Box for the All in Pledge has 3 levels of inserts and 2 drawer. The top drawer will house the Player tokens and Miniatures in modular trays while the Bottom drawer will have 2 insert levels and house the Game Board, hexagons, cards and other components. 

This is it for this months update. Our next update should include the pre production prototype with lots of pictures and video🎥!

January Update: Shipping 📦 and PM

Hello Everyone 👋, 

Another update for the Flood Board game 🌊🌊 is here! 

Pledge manager: Just a reminder that the pledge manager will lock 🔒 on Jan 31. At that time shipping will be charged. You will still be able to update your address, just not game options. This will allow us to estimate exact quantities to manufacture.

Shipping: The ocean shipping outlook is better, however fulfillment is up 73%. Although fulfillment cost has risen we will honor our KS shipping estimates for all backers. The chart below outlines the final prices. 

Updated Rule book: Checkout the Rule Book below. Both for the Standard pledge and the Deluxe pledge. A huge thank you to everyone who read the Rulebook and sent feedback!

The rules for the Standard pledge were changed slightly. The Mighty Beast module has been separated from the rulebook.
